AND THE OSCAR GOES TO:

Asad and I are cordially invited to attend the private screening of the movie we starred in next Thursday in El Segundo, Cali! We filmed it almost a year ago and it is finally almost ready for the festivals. Clooney and Cathrine, make way for Asad and PG!!!!!!!!!!!
Wednesday Soori at the Beach:
Well, what can I say; there was fire, there was the loud fire-jumping, dancing, singing, yelling crowd and there was smoke and fireworks despite the sign specifically asking for none! All in all, it was cool and it was fun! (Will post pictures of it later on).

LAW-BREAK
Spring break officially started on Saturday. Good thing the legal-break came before my having a legal-breakdown!
CALL ON ME NO MORE!
I got called on two times in contracts a couple of weeks ago, the week I had to stay up till 4 am to read cases for my appellate brief! So on Tuesday, after I get called on in contracts, I am walking with my gals when I see my prof behind us, smiling at me! As brave as a first year law student can get, I say to him: Yo dude what's the deal yo? Wassup with you calling on me so much? Actually I politely (while shaking)told him I had this paper due that week and he promised me not to call on me on thursday and I promised not to skip class if he does not call on me that thursday! In reliance on his promise I go to class(detriment) and he calls on me! It was a bilateral contract, I relied on it, there was consideration and all, and he breached y'all! I stay up that night doing my paper, and the next morning my torts prof calls on me for the first time! What was February? "Lets all call on APGIC in class" month?
FATE
Due to the tragic events of getting called on, I promised myself to study from morning to morning over the break and spend my days at the library like the rest of my classmates, but fate had somethin' else up its sleeves for this persian gal! So many things came up that messed up my plans for a great morning to morning study week.
EX-MONTH
What is March? "Exes are coming to town" month? The weirdest things in the weirdest and most unforseeable manner happen to me when it comes to people I have hung out with a long time ago. See, there is a guy I once hung out with who keeps popping out every 6 months and we hang out and again 6 months later he pops up in the most unexpected location! I was in my weekly community meeting in our office in the positon of a good board member!, minding my own business and all, waiting for the meeting to end so I can go back to my friend at school and study the rest of the night away, when out of the blue at the end of the meeting he pops out once again, punctually at the end of the 6 months gap period! And we hang out yet once more, talking about old times!
Saturday night I get invited to a school party that I really want to go, but since I had already promised my sister's friend that I'd go with them to her friend's husband's bday, whom by the way we had no idea who he was, I keep my word and go to a place where I wrongly assume I will not know anyone! Boy, was I wrong. Upon our entrance, the bday boy comes to greet us and not knowing him, I push him and go to the nearest handsome guy and sing to him, in english and farsi, happy bday! Jokes aside, there I see an old friend and his fiancee and happily talk the night over when I notice this guy staring at me. Soon after he comes to me and who is he? This guy I have known who always asked me to marry him and I always took it as a joke till that night when he proposed to me right there! Hilarious guy! Who else was supposed to be there? Who else but "The guy with whom I hung out for a while who pops out every 6 months"!!! And lastly, a guy I knew a long while back, who left to pursue his business in Vegas, has emailed me coz he is in town for norooz! What a weird string of events! I have only hung out with a couple of people and have not seen 'em in moon years and they all pop out in a matter of days? What is March? "Popping out of the old acquaintances" month?
P.S. I have a new patent client. I was going to take my patent bar exam last year and become a patent agent prior to entering law school, but did not! Gonna do it this summer before I lose my clients!

We were invited to our best friend's daughter's bday party Sunday afternoon, a gathering of multi rich persians with their BMWs and MBZs and what do they talk about while we are at the table eating, this other friend of theirs operation to take place promptly for a size increase of assets!! Apparently an upgrade to a C grade costs 6,500 U.S. dollars! I seriously wanted to kill myself right then and there!

Dad's coming on thursday, so thursday is a gone deal too since I will be working on Monday and Wednesday. There goes the plans for a hardy hard study week. Wish FATE would leave the planning to me.
