Greetings:
Well, I am back. I missed this place, I missed being APGIC, I missed writing about my days in Cali (though I did write in this other blog). I probably have lost my readers, this must be a dead and buried blog to them, but I intend to revive it!!
Well, so much has happened, I am officially all burnt out and I will write about my law school days in Cali soon! What I would like to write on tonight is the EBI concert we went to on Saturday night.
All tired from staying up till 3 and 4 AM all week working on an outline for my appellate brief, I did not want to have to go out anytime soon, not until I was 70 at least. On top of that, I was not even an EBI fan! But I kinda had to since the gang had gotten tickets and wanted to go.
Saturday afternoon, after a full day workshop in Fullerton, I was ready to pass out but had to get ready and while nagging and complaining, I did! The concert was supposed to start at 8:30 PM and we got there at 9:30 (2 hour drive) thinking we must have missed an hour, but NO, you know how we Iranians are; LATE! After waiting in the long line, we finally go in, lotsa friends see us and yell out our name and while trying to find our seats, we smile and greet and run! Finally we sit down and I am ready to take the nap of my life when EBI comes on stage and makes me fall in love with him. He is truly great and an amazing performer. I am now his numero uno fan.
By the way, when SAFA said they were going to bring the house down they truly meant it! I was sitting right across from them and they did "explode" the place!
